Nothing identifies you until you type it into a form. When you do, we collect what the form asks for: name, email, sometimes a practice name, city, phone, and the answers to a short application. Calculators store the inputs and outputs you chose to save, only when you enter an email.

Two first-party cookies record how you found us: the campaign parameters on the link you arrived by, the referring site, the first page you landed on, and a timestamp. They contain no personal data and expire after ninety days. A third remembers your measurement choice, so our server honours it as well as your browser. A fourth holds the country our host, Vercel, detected for your visit, so the site knows which default below applies to you. It lasts a day.

Some of our ads on Facebook and Instagram carry a short form you fill in without leaving the app. When you send one, Meta passes us what you entered, usually your name, phone number and practice name, and tells us which ad it came from. We store it the same way as a form on this site.

We never ask for patient information and you should never send any. Nothing on this site is designed to hold it.

What happens by default depends on where you are. Our host, Vercel, tells us the country each visit comes from.

In the United States, measurement is on when you arrive. The Meta Pixel and Google Analytics load, and a short notice says so. To stop it, choose "Do not sell or share my personal information" in that notice or at the foot of any page. The Pixel is removed from the page and Google Analytics switches to a denied state under Consent Mode v2. Our server also stops reporting your visits and form details to Meta and Google.

We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends that signal, we treat it as the same opt out wherever you are, and measurement never starts.

Everywhere else, nothing is measured until you allow it. Google Analytics starts in a denied state and the Meta Pixel does not load. Both run only if you choose "Allow measurement" in the cookie notice. If you choose "Essential only", nothing beyond the site's own operation runs, and our server reports nothing about you either.

When measurement is on, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel measure page visits, form completions, clicks on our email and phone links, and bookings made in the embedded calendar. Our server reports the same events to Meta's Conversions API, and form completions to Google Analytics, with a matching event id so each is counted once. Those reports carry your IP address and browser and, for a form, the email, phone, name and city you entered, hashed before they leave our server. Vercel Analytics records page views without cookies.

Submissions are stored in Supabase (Postgres, United States) as the system of record and mirrored to Airtable, which we use as a working list. Email is sent through Resend from comms.thevisibledoctor.com; every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing stops the sequence immediately.

To turn measurement off, use "Do not sell or share my personal information" at the foot of any page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. The choice is kept in a cookie on this browser. Another browser, or a browser with its cookies cleared, starts again from the default for your region.
